Brief
A short invented name has to feel like a world. Sci-fi audience, streaming and festival. Brief: scale and idea, not a spaceship catalog. The title must work as a logotype.
Concept
Astra is a destination and a sound. We designed a single impossible-but-photographic space around a human scale cue so the film stays a story, not a wallpaper. Negative space is the cosmos.
Type and color
Cool spectrum, precise type, one practical light on a figure or object. Title tracking is engineered for 200-pixel width. 16:9 keeps horizon/void; 27×40 keeps the figure’s feet on something.
What was hard
Sci-fi posters drown in UI and lens flares. We banned decorative HUD. The world is in color, scale, and the wordmark. Same master for theatrical and platform art.
