Block Party movie poster design.
Artwork by Drix Agency for a comedy title. This page documents the poster as studio work. It is not a claim of an official studio commission, IMDb credit, or distributor campaign unless those credits are cleared and listed here.

Brief
Community comedy: energy without a flyer-for-a-real-party look. Audience: younger-leaning comedy and festival midnight slots. The image had to feel like a night, not an event poster for a street.
Concept
One street, one cluster of people, one color temperature of cheap lights that still look cinematic. We designed a party you want to crash, then let the title sit like a neighborhood sign that went professional.
Type and color
Saturated practicals, skin that holds, type with bounce but not balloon fonts. 1:1 crop is faces; 27×40 is the block. Grain keeps it from looking like a brand activation.
What was hard
Crowd posters become noise. We hierarchied three reads: a foreground person, a midground cluster, a title. Streaming UI will eat the bottom — we did not put the joke there.
